Special Educational Needs and Local Offer

At Stoke Mandeville Combined School we believe each child has an entitlement to access all areas of learning through the National Curriculum. High quality teaching, differentiated for individual pupils, is the first step in responding to pupils who have or may have SEND. However, for some children a variety of approaches and strategies will be required , over and above the normal classroom differentiation.
